History Of The Artefact:
The production dates of this Shaving Mirror are between the years 1850 and 1860.
This antique Shaving Mirror is made of Mahogany wood and glass, it stands 40 cm tall, rectangular in shape and the mirror is framed in wood. The mirror is attached to a wooden base that is adjustable by 2 wooden knobs on either side of the wooden frame.
Restoration work has been done on this piece. When found the mirror was intact, but the wood veneer frame was in small pieces.
